Scholarships Awarded This Cycle
Davieon and 11 other students each received $2,000 scholarships from the branch. In addition, 3 students were selected for the first-ever Arthur McCants President’s Scholarship of $1,000.

The Criminal Justice Committee is organizing monthly community walks and preparing a court-watch program launching in August.

Founded in 1928, NAACP Las Vegas Branch #1111 is approaching a historic milestone. As the branch moves toward its centennial, a new chapter is being built through active committees, stronger systems, youth investment, community partnerships, and weekly work in the places where civil rights still matter.
Under Executive Director Gerald Mayes, the branch is strengthening its infrastructure, expanding civic engagement, supporting volunteers, and preparing the organization for the next generation of advocacy.
