Do I have to be a member to participate?
No. #BeAnAdvocate is open to everyone. Membership is encouraged, but you can Amplify, Activate, or Sustain even as you're joining.
What if I can’t give every month?
You can still Be An Advocate. Amplifying and Activating are powerful ways to contribute without a monthly commitment. You can become a Sustainer whenever it fits your budget.
Are my contributions tax-deductible?
NAACP Las Vegas Branch #1111 is a 501(c)(4). Contributions are not tax-deductible as charitable gifts, but they directly fund advocacy and community support.
Can my church, union, or organization join?
Yes. Partners are welcome. Groups can help Amplify, Activate volunteers, or Sustain the work through coordinated support or recurring contributions.
How will I know the impact of my advocacy?
Advocates receive updates on key wins, youth achievements, civic engagement success, Legal Redress stories, and opportunities to get involved—so you always know your impact.
Can I change my Advocacy Path later?
Absolutely. You can shift between Amplifying, Activating, and Sustaining anytime. Life changes—and your Advocacy Path can change with it.
