Housing Committee Leadership

Meet the People Helping Lead The Housing Work

The Housing Committee works to ensure that all residents of the Las Vegas valley have access to safe, affordable, and equitable housing. Committee members advocate for fair housing policies, investigate and respond to housing discrimination complaints, educate the community on tenant rights and renter protections, and work to prevent displacement of Black and underserved residents. The committee collaborates with local housing authorities, legal aid organizations, and community partners to address the growing affordable housing crisis in Southern Nevada, while pushing for systemic change through policy advocacy, community organizing, and direct support to residents facing housing instability.
