🎄 December General Membership Meeting + Holiday Party & Member Appreciation 🎁
Join the NAACP Las Vegas Branch for our final General Membership Meeting of the year — a special holiday edition dedicated to community, celebration, and appreciation for all who have supported our work in 2025.
We’ll gather on Saturday, December 20 at 12:30 PM at the Pearson Community Center (1625 W. Carey Ave) for a warm and festive afternoon. Enjoy light refreshments, connect with fellow members, hear year-end updates, and celebrate the incredible progress our branch has made this year.
This meeting also serves as our Holiday Party & Member Appreciation event, complete with festive décor, community joy, and a special appearance from Santa!

Our New Member Orientation is designed to help you deepen your connection with the NAACP Las Vegas Branch. Held monthly on the Saturday following our General Membership Meeting, this session introduces new members—and anyone interested in joining—to who we are, what we stand for, and how we advance our mission of civil rights, equity, and community empowerment.
Participants will learn about the history of the NAACP, our local branch structure, active committees, current priorities, and meaningful ways to get involved. The NAACP Legal Redress Committee proudly presents our Inaugural Dodgeball Competition Fundraiser — an action-packed event where teams of six will compete for glory, all while raising funds for an important cause.

Clark County EMT Academy
Receive professional training to become a Basic EMT at no cost. Program participants will learn about a career as an EMT through a 2-week bootcamp. A selective number of participate will join the EMT Academy cohort for a 9-week training program.

Act-So Welcome Meeting & Recruitment
The NAACP Las Vegas Branch invites high school students to join the Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological, and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO). This year-long program is designed to nurture talent in STEM, arts, healthcare, business, and more, with the opportunity to develop projects and performances guided by mentors and community volunteers.
