Our New Member Orientation is designed to help you deepen your connection with the NAACP Las Vegas Branch. Held monthly on the Saturday following our General Membership Meeting, this session introduces new members—and anyone interested in joining—to who we are, what we stand for, and how we advance our mission of civil rights, equity, and community empowerment.
Participants will learn about the history of the NAACP, our local branch structure, active committees, current priorities, and meaningful ways to get involved. Whether you're ready to dive into advocacy or simply want to understand our work before becoming a member, this orientation is a welcoming space to ask questions, make connections, and take your next step in the movement for justice.
