Our systems are collapsing. Black Campers will reimagine them — and Black history & culture will light the way.
NAACP Las Vegas is proud to bring Black Camp to our community — three days of dialogue, masterclasses, and restoration for the leaders our moment demands.
A Hogwarts for the people's leaders.
Many of us are yearning for a place to keep it real — to share knowledge, to celebrate and uplift Black contributions, and to build a thriving future together. Black Camp is that place to start dreaming and building.
Led by veteran strategist and teacher Jessica Byrd, Black Camp is an immersive experience rooted in Black history and culture. It brings together Black and multiracial leaders through masterclasses, open sessions, wellness, and shared activities — the dialogue we need right now.
"Have you been waiting for a space to keep it real? To talk solutions, not just problems? This is it."
Our community deserves this kind of space — and this kind of investment.
Last year, campers across the country found a gathering that stuck with them. Now Black Camp is making its way West, and NAACP Las Vegas is honored to bring it home. We're inviting leaders from across the region to build a new world with us — over three days of the State of Black America, Systems & Power, Community Care, Worldbuilding, and Leadership.
Four masterclasses, built to build on each other.
Led by Jessica Byrd, each masterclass is discussion-heavy and designed to compound. Join one or join them all.
Class admission closes 15 minutes after start time. All masterclasses are off-the-record.
